The evaluation of the UNICEF programme “Towards the end of child marriages in Serbia” (2018-2020) is underway. The main purpose of this evaluation is to determine the extent to which the adopted strategies, approaches and activities applied during the three-year implementation of the programme, laid the foundations for promoting and expanding a comprehensive response to a number of different factors influencing the survival of child marriage in Roma settlements in Serbia. Moreover, the purpose of this evaluation is to provide recommendations to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, national and local decision makers, UNICEF, UN agencies and donors on the best way forward in further planning programmes and interventions related to early child marriage.
