In close cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund and the United Nations Development Program in Montenegro, the SeConS expert team developed the Strategy on Deinstitutionalization in Montenegro for the period 2023-2027. The draft was prepared taking into account relevant national regulations and analyses in the field of social and child protection, as well as based on consultations with relevant actors and stakeholders. In addition, the SeConS expert team will be involved in the process of drafting comments and recommendations that should contribute to the creation of the new Strategy on the Development of the Social and Child Protection System in Montenegro. Both strategic documents should indicate the key challenges to which social protection should respond, as well as define the comprehensive framework of the social protection sector when it comes to care and support for users, especially those from vulnerable groups.
